I wish to thank all those who came out and showed support to the brothers that received awards at the Veterans and Sojourners night and to our new Dedicated Service Award Recipient, Bro. Lee Wiggins.
Our guest speaker for the evening was the Grand Treasurer, RW William Thomas and his lovely wife. The evening was a great success - 31 brothers received their award pins which ranged from 5 to 60 years of Masonic service. We will be traveling out to those brothers who were unable to attend that evening to deliver any awards which were not able to be given out that evening.
The second degree was successfully conferred Oct. 3rd. All went well per AGL VW Edward Sinay, Jr. He was pleased with our ritual and floor work. The Master Mason degree will be conferred to 4 brothers on November 7th starting at 7:00 PM. Please come out and take part in this wonderful degree and show your support to these new brothers.
A reminder to all that we will be hosting the Grand Lecture's convention on November 18th, dinner is starting at 6:30 PM. The convention starts at 7:30 PM. Reservation can be made by calling the AGL, VW Edward Sinay, Jr. at (315) 699-4769. This will be the last convention for Grand Lecture, RW Chuck Toombs.
If your lodge is looking for the Potts' award that night, you need to have your 7 top officers there, Master, SW, JW, SD, JD, SMC, JMC, this is truly a special award for all lodges to obtain.
November 11th is Veteran's Day, please take the time out to thank all those men and women that served and who are serving to make this country free. Thank You.
November 21st will be our Thanksgiving dinner & program night, open meeting with our better halves. Come out and enjoy Thanksgiving dinner #501 style.
Happy Thanksgiving to All!
Fraternally:
W Ralph I. Haney, Jr.
