Brother Lewis H. Goodman, 82, passed Saturday morning 10 November 2007, at home. He was born December 4, 1924, the son of Frank A. and H. Elizabeth Hackeman Goodman. He graduated from Eastwood High School in 1942 and Syracuse University in 1947. Brother Goodman was a lifetime member of James Street United Methodist Church and a former lay leader of the church. He was a Chrysler dealer for 48 years–founder of Lewis Goodman Inc. and still active in the business at the time of his death.

Mr. Goodman was a Time Dealer Award Recipient and served on the National Dealer Council with Iacocca during the Chrysler crisis. He was a former president of New York State Auto Dealers, former president of AAA of Syracuse, a 15-year counselor for S.C.O.R.E. of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, a member of Liverpool Syracuse Lodge 501 for 54 years, member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Syracuse, Tigris Shrine, a member of the Royal Order of Jester Syracuse Court No. 79, and a member of Syracuse Rotary Club.

Bro. Lewis is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Annette B. Craig, and their two children, Barbara Jesmer (Michael) and Craig L. Goodman Sr.; grandchildren Annette H. (Dana) Kuhlmann, Laurie J. LaShomb, John C. Hayes, Craig L. Goodman Jr., Christopher L. Goodman, Julie L. (Daniel) Besanson and Michael L. Jesmer; great-grandchildren Katherine Kuhlmann, Lauren Kuhlmann, Colleen Kuhlmann, Mary Kuhlmann, Aaron LaShomb Jr. and Leslie Besanson; and several nieces and nephews.

Private burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
