The Masonic
Fraternity is active in community service. We organize blood drives,
volunteer at local schools, and run a Child ID program that reaches
15,000 children statewide each year. We operate the Masonic Medical
Research Laboratory in Utica and New York State Masons also sponsor
training sessions for school districts to help them identify children at
risk for substance abuse.
The Masonic
home, located in the Utica area, is a state of the art community for the
elderly and those with special needs. We also operate "Camp Turk" in the
Adirondack Mountains where hundreds of youths get the chance to
experience the real outdoors every year.
